We work with the public sector to mainstream disaster risk resilience and climate adaptation measures into emergency planning and response programs. Disaster risk reduction is critical to resilient supply chains.
We emphasize building capacity to be responsive to small enterprises, which account for more than half of all global employment. We have partnered with the local Small Business Development Centers to deliver resilience programs in California, Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania.
Prisere is honored to be included in pioneering initiatives to advance resilience such as the National Academy of Sciences Gulf Coast program. To advance the program’s work plan, the Academy invited 40 experts, including Prisere, to develop new concepts for science-enabled disaster resilience. We began our collaboration by designing a future newspaper reporting the resilience, not the vulnerability of the Gulf Coast communities. We are honored to be invited to share our expertise in developing technology for a more resilient future.
